Wilderness School

Client: SARAH Constructions

Architect: Cox Architecture

Budget: $1.12M

Scope: Project has been delivered in two stages. First in existing buildings of the school and stage 2 fitout was performed in newly constructed building within school grounds.

Probably the most challenging project Motyl has  deliver so far in our 10 years history. Combine with 2020 pandemic difficulties and demanding design goals. Our most experience tradesmen have been pushed to their limits on more than one occasion. Joinery design concept has been using American Oak solid timber and veneer products with clear coating. With large volumes of perforated ceiling fixtures, curved timbers and bespoke wall panelling systems.

Common Learning room on L2 has 4 large pivot timber doors and when open can be transformed into separate classrooms.

Motyl has worked very hard in limited time frame to delivery this iconic project and we are proud to be part of another award-winning design.
